JALDAPARA

Our tour to Darjeeling, Sikkim and Bhutan started from 27-09-2015, arrived at Bagdogra Airport and we completed our North East India tour by road, and  after visiting Kalimpong,  we arrived at Jaldapara which is a transit place to Bhutan. Jaldapara is in East of Bengal and border with Bhutan, distance to the check point Phuntsholing (Bhutan) is about 30 km. We stayed at Jaldapara, very near to Dooars,  Wild Life Reserves in North East Bengal, which is also a  gateway to the hill stations of North Bengal and Bhutan. Famous for its tea gardens, forests and the Rivers, it is ideal for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The region is known for its wildlife sanctuaries where one can spot herds of deer, one-horned rhinos, elephants, and reptiles. Even though we stayed only one night at Mystic Resort, at night we couldn’t sleep due to commotions by Wild Elephants nearby and the Resort Security switched off all lights.
